Stayed here many times through the years and love the year round pool and beautiful location. However, the rooms have not been updated in a while, there was no maid service, and for the second time in a row, I did not get the type of room I reserved. There was no apology- just passed the buck because I didn't make the reservation directly through the hotel. Their restaurants have great food but much shorter hours or closed, and no longer offer the continental breakfast, just a voucher for $8, which helps on a $19 breakfast. There were 3 servers and 4 customers at breakfast and I had to go up to the bar twice to get water refills while the staff was chatting about a baby shower. They were very nice but there seems to be a training issue. The hot cocoa, water and
coffee station in the lobby was no longer there on our most recent visit. The spa no longer offers many basic treatments and doesn't seem to have any consistent staff, hours or location. It is by appointment only. It was some of these special details that made us love this hotel for many years. They seem to fill up with lots of skiers in the winter and weddings in the spring/summer because of the beautiful location and available activities, but customer service is not what it used to be. However, the customer service and friendliness at the golf course is excellent and the courses are beautifully maintained. I'd recommend this hotel but wish they'd add back some of the amenities and attention to detail.
