The close by cities of Yadjin and Tinaroo are definitely worth going to. Yadjin is 10 kilometres to the northwest of Yungaburra, while Tinaroo is 13 kilometres to the northwest. Yadjin accommodations include the Atherton Rainforest Motor Inn and Lake Tinaroo Holiday Park. The Barking Owl Retreat and Tinaroo Lake Resort are some of the better ones in Tinaroo.
