We like this property and have stayed a few times. Staff is friendly, rooms are clean. This time though we were disappointed in housekeeping. We asked for daily service and returned to our room with no toilet paper, tissues and coffee area not refilled. It was not great service to have to call down for that. Also surprised no water bottles for the coffee

I liked that it was really close to Eastern Michigan University and Depot Town. Close to highway as well! I did not like that you could hear the conversation through the walls in next room, the light coming from under and above the door from hallway at night, the slamming of the doors in the morning and the price of the parking. Parking should be free if you are paying that much to stay there

Excellent room with beautiful view

Beautiful hotel with a great view; I would have given 5 stars, but housekeeping banged on every door in our area including ours at 9am (checkout was 11am) yelling housekeeping until you answered the door even with our Privacy Please on the door handle. Even after that, they (housekeeping) continued to make noise slamming doors around us and loudly talking right outside our door. The rest of the stay was wonderful, and we would love to stay again if we aren’t abruptly alarmed by housekeeping 2 hours before checkout. Thank you!

The rooms are decorated with simplicity and style. I did miss some of small touches you'd usually see in a marriott, like makeup removal wipes and complimentary water.

This hotel staff shows excellent care to our belongings and feeling of any concern, question, or feedback we brought to them. The bar staff was hard working and very kind. Dining options we all admired as well. I will return!
