Disappointing stay due to maintenance, cleanliness, and hygiene issues
Unfortunately, our stay did not meet expectations. The shower was extremely loud and made banging noises and was unusable for the first couple of days, meaning we were unable to shower during that time. In addition, the bed was dirty and covered in sand when we arrived, which was unacceptable and showed a lack of hygienic standards.
We were out during reception hours for the first couple of days; however, I repeatedly called, left messages, and sent emails, and no one returned my calls or responded for several days. There was no answer when I tried calling either.
On day three, I went into the office in person to raise the issues and requested some form of reimbursement for the first couple of nights, as the room had been uncomfortable, lacked basic amenities, and lacked hygienic conditions. This request was declined. The sheets were changed and the shower was finally fixed that day; however, by then we had already endured several days of inconvenience.
Overall, the lack of hygiene on arrival, ongoing maintenance issues, and poor communication made this a disappointing experience.
