Handy location
Hotel was really nice and in a good location, it was just a short walk from the Shambles and York Minster etc. We parked in the Q Park shambles car park as thought we would get discount from the hotel but when we checked in we discovered you had to pre book the parking to get the discount so it cost us £48 for 2 nights. We loved York and would return to this hotel.

Rooms clean and comfortable. Pillows are soft though. Service ok. We had quite a number of luggages but no staff helped. We had to move all ourselves to our rooms. Breakfast was normal. Nothing fantastic.

Great value. I would rate it higher, only the complimentary breakfast had no hot options for vegetarians or vegans on offer. There were vegan sausages available when we enquired, but unfortunately, there was a mix up in the kitchen and we were not served them. I would definitely stay here again.
