Poor night's sleep in decent hotel in OK location

Location-wise, the hotel is quite far from the city, and also worth noting the pool you can use is not at the hotel but at one 15 min walk away (in direction of the city). Public areas are very nicely furnished, room was clean, bed comfortable, plenty of lights and plug sockets. Breakfast was good, waitress very friendly. Biggest negative was the night porter banging on a neighbouring door at 1am which woke me up. While it's good they acted on a complaint, surely they could've done it in a way that didn't disturb other guests.

Couldn’t fault staff or room. Disappointing that hotel advertises as having a pool, however it is an affiliation with another hotel so you have to walk to use. Facilities nice enough though you’ll not be nipping from your room to the pool in your robe!

Amazing stay

Amazing hotel, the staff are so lovely and conscientious, the breakfast staff were so accommodating of my gluten intolerance and so kind and patient with my daughter, the room was lovely and courtyard was so nice. Would definitely visit again, the only down side was the first night the entrance to the room had a strange smell but it was gone by the next afternoon.

We really loved the power shower and the bed was very comfortable but the room we had was next to a door that was meant to be fire exit only but was used all night which made it hard to sleep as it banged very loudly. We also weren’t overly impressed with the room service offering, we ordered the same thing (just sandwiches) on different nights and the second time we’re told we couldn’t have something removed and then when it came it was completely a different standard to the first one (different bread/layout/size) we also had to wait for room service to restart although it’s meant to be 24/7 and the member of staff was quite abrupt

Great hotel and convenient location. Very disappointed about the lack of acknowledgment from the hotel with regards to our special celebration at hotel and even though we sent a message to the hotel directly regarding of silver wedding anniversary. I thought the property /building inside was beautiful - The annexe court yard room was cold as heating not working - staff very kind supplied additional duvet
