The Artist House is a luxurious three bedroom home situated right on the beach at Wongaling Beach - truly one of the best positions in Mission Beach!

With an expansive beach frontage and a stunning design layout, you will have views to the Coral Sea and Dunk Island from most rooms. From the moment you walk in you will relax and immediately move into holiday mode. Across the entry deck courtyard with tranquil fish ponds, the entry is resort style. Open the timber bi-folding doors and let the beach and views become part of the house. The Artist House has been cleverly designed to make the most of living in the tropics. We are sure you will not want leave.

Imagine lazing on the day bed – watching the children in the pool and taking in the views to Dunk Island. Stress will disappear in no time. The romantic king bedroom opens onto the verandah area with daybed just there, it boasts an expansive bathroom offering views to the beach from the shower or you can soak your stress away lazing in the bath and open the bi-fold windows for views across the pool to the ocean.

The 2nd King bedroom with ensuite, opens on to the verandah also. Fall asleep at night enjoying the gentle seabreezes. The 3rd bedroom is a spacious room offering 2 queen beds.

The kitchen is very spacious and well equipped with beautiful appliance - perfect for entertaining with the indoor outdoor servery opening onto the outdoor dining table on the verandah. “Cooking up a storm” here will be most enjoyable. The rear courtyard has another outdoor dining space perfect for a BBQ when the wind is blowing on the beach.

Paradise on Wongaling Beach

Our multigenerational family group loved our stay at this beach front property. It was an easy (20 m) walk down the path to the beautiful waters of the Coral Sea. We watched the moon and sun rise from the deck and felt at peace. The house is well appointed - comfy beds, a good BBQ a nice plunge pool. We were sorry to leave and will definitely return asap!

A Fabulous Location for Relaxing

The Artists House is located on an amazing stretch of beach with wonderful views directly onto the beach from the main rooms. The house has a lovely vibe. One thing to note for sun lovers is that it is built to maximise shade cover (not surprising for the heat of the summer), but there was little comfortable seating for relaxing in sunny spots which would have been nice in the winter months when we were there. Other than that the house is very comfortable (although we were chilly at night when the temperatures dropped below average). There is no provision of beach chairs or parasol which would have been a bonus. It is a very well equipped house and was an ideal place to reset and re-charge batteries which was the purpose of our trip.

Perfect relaxation

This luxury property is the perfect R&R destination. The house was clean and exceptionally designed with inside/outside living, break taking views from every room and everything we needed. The location is idyllic on the beach front. We enjoyed long beach walks, swimming in the pool and outdoor family meals.

Beautiful House

Great location, house was not cleaned properly upon arrival but host sent cleaner back to redo. Rang host several times as the toilets weren't flushing properly, rubbish in the garage was not removed, but they didn't get back to us till the end of the stay. Some of the beds were very hard. I did speak to the host who was pleasant and easy to talk to. She did say she would take it up with the owners and suggest that they put toppers on the beds. All in all, the house was an excellent place to stay and easily accommodated our large adult family. We would rebook this place again.
