Fine old hotel in a downtown location. Beautiful room with a great bed and linens. We ordered breakfast from room service and it was great. Would recommend and would stay there again.

Terrible experience.

I chose the Fairmont for the brand reputation. The hotel was great. The experience was terrible. They put a drunk, fighting couple across the hall from me. The couple checked in late, after me. The hotel could have chosen any other room or floor in the hotel, away from guests. I had to call the front desk three times to send security. The couple was fighting and breaking furniture. The screaming was non-stop from midnight until 5 am. I had a conversation with the front desk in the morning. They told me they purposely didn't put the couple on a higher floor because of their condition. I couldn't understand what they were thinking by putting them across from me.

Wifi charges in 2025 are astronomical and offensive, this is the only property out of my last 20 trips that charges for high speed internet. Hotel was just ok. For being the Fairmont and the price, you dont get a lot. Location was great, but construction made it difficulties to get around. Underground tunnel was great, but coming home from the NHL game, doors were locked and made it quite difficult to navigate out.
