This compact first floor holiday apartment is tucked away quietly but is just 50 metres from the bustle of Bowness’ high street which offers a wide selection of restaurants, pubs and interesting shops. Comfortably furnished and fitted it has a balcony with views towards Claife Heights. The lake is a pleasant 5 minute stroll from where you can take a cruise up to Ambleside or enjoy numerous water sports. There is a huge variety of activities and attractions nearby. Excellent public transport covering most of the Lake District enables visitors to be car free. Shops and pubs 55 yards.

Fantastic location, and very clean. Negatives is no WiFi, really annoying when you can’t get phone signal either… although in fairness this is something I should have checked before booking. Parking limited, but I’m sure you could park in surrounding areas. Apartment very dated, sofa is sooo uncomfortable. The walls are paper thin so the noise from outside and other apartments is quite bad, massively affected sleep. Kitchen very well equiped. Overall good stay as location makes up for anything else.
