Be careful booking this place! We booked through Expedia and picked a King bedroom, but at check-in, the lady said our booking only gave us the "best price available, which was a double queen room in the old section." She said she had an upgraded room with "luxury sheets and view" for $30/night extra! We were there for a romantic birthday getaway and normally sleep on a king bed. I booked a king bed and ended up paying more for it! What a scam! There is nothing on Expedia booking that says we are paying for the best available price room! If so, why did we even get the option to pick a King bed? The lobby and downstairs are beautiful, but the only parking is $28/day Valet or the other end of the block and across the street in the city parking garage for $20/day! The valet staff was great. The sheets were not anything special and one of the decorative pillows on the bed had stains on it but had a zip-off cover that could easily have been washed, and was definitely something the maid would have seen when putting it on the bed. The room was big with three windows looking out at the surrounding buildings, not really special but better than what some reviewed. The place was busy with a wedding reception going on and lots of wait staff. There is a Starbucks with an inside entrance, an expensive steakhouse, a bar, and a small women's clothing store co-located but most other attractions, ie aquarium area, were a bit of a walk. Not worth the price. Won't stay again or recommend.
