Average is a stretch for this "Hilton"

I guess I expected more from a "Hilton". Got checked in ok. When we got to the room, the keys didn't work. Went back to the fron desk to get more keys. Got back to the room and they still didn't work. Called the front desk and the clerk came, and we figured out, she wrote down the wrong room number. So I was trying to get into a room that wasn't mine. Not only was this inconvenient, but also dangerous in my opinion. Everything was loud. The AC unit, the blower fan in the bathroom fan and the toilet kep running as if it wasn't filling up. I took the top off the tank and was horrified at what I saw!! A brown, dark and gross tank. Upon checkout, the clerk for the day,didn't even ask how the stay was. I'm pretty sure I'll avoid this place in the future.

Everything was great. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Would definitely come back. I thought we wouldn't like the outside access to the room, but it was way quieter than the indoor access most hotels have.

There was a very noisy pool party and the ceilings in the rooms allow every step upstairs to be heard. Kids were running upstairs literally until 6:00 AM. Definitely request an upstairs room.

We were there at 3PM for check-in and then we were told to wait for 30 minutes to get a room ready. The room we stayed is in poor condition, the windows drapes are old and torn. The lighting is very dull, carpet hasn't been steam vacuumed in a while. Overall this place require lot of renovation.

I had a great stay at Homewood Suites in West Lafayette. The room was clean, spacious, and well-equipped — exactly what I expected for a comfortable and convenient stay. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the amenities met all my needs. The only downside was some noise in the room, possibly from the HVAC or AC system — a low hum that was noticeable at night. It didn’t ruin my stay, but it’s something worth checking or improving. Aside from that, everything else was excellent, and I’d definitely consider staying here again.

I had a problem with my room after I checked in. The bed was broken and I had to prop it up and fix it myself. I asked them to either fix it, replace it or change my room the following day. I was told that they would do one of those things and would communicate back with me by phone. I was never notified by things were corrected. I called them twice more and was told that someone would get back to me and they never did. Finally, they changed my room. When I saw the maintenance guy the next day, he told me he fixed it early that morning, but no one ever told me or I would’ve stayed in the same room. Made my stay very inconvenient and a bit frustrating. Nothing was ever done to make amends for this, such as discount or some other consolation.
