This was one of the most unpleasant stay we had in a very long time. This hotel is just an old, old motel with a band aid on it. We had room 209. We believe the toilet was from 1940. Shame on the motel owner.

Worse than expected

I knew this would be a basic hotel, but decided to book due to location (proximity to a race and Mt. Rushmore). Was disappointed to see the state this hotel was in. Super dirty vents visible on the exterior of the building, a bunch of gnats camped out by the sink on our hotel, and not clear (slightly brown) water in our toilet and shower. On the plus side, the people working there were friendly and the breakfast was ok, but I don't think I'd stay here again if given a choice.

It was great for an over night stay! The little grill next door to them their dinner was good . We went in to get subway to find they were closed and found this little diner!
