Staff was fabulous. The attention to details on the property was wonderful (flowers were beautiful, laundry room was huge bonus, walking trail for dogs was excellent). The staff made us welcome and felt like they really appreciated us staying with them. 😊

Such a cute Swiss themed hotel. The room was very clean and had all the necessities. Front desk staff very helpful and friendly. Nice indoor pool and beautiful outdoor pool. Oh and a pickle ball court!! The cafe next door was convenient. Great pastries, croissants and muffins. Will re-book next year for the Volksmarch!

Staff was wonderful. Whole experience was relaxed, restful and homey; not some corporate, impersonal, glass, steel, and plastic, cookie-cutter type hotel. Very pet friendly. Very thoughtful amenities such as a free laundry room. I have never seen that before, but it was a pleasant surprise. Bed was very comfortable. Restaurant on the property was open for breakfast and was a great experience. Again, great staff, good food, and very relaxed, mellow atmosphere. Very convenient to all the local attractions. Custer was a nice town with several good restaurants and not overrun with tourist trap shops. I was very tempted to extend my stay and make this my home base when traveling about the area. I would recommend doing that if you plan on spending several days in the area. This is definitely the place to stay in the Black Hills area.

This is a great place to stay. The bed was super comfortable. I slept like a rock. I’m in a Jacuzzi room, which was really only not much more expensive. It was worth it to be in a big bubble bath and then just crawl into a comfy bed and go to sleep. I slept so well. It’s super convenient to Custer And it’s a nice little breakfast restaurant as part of the Inn.

I only spent enough time here to sleep although there were far more amenities available. I am always grateful for free laundry machines since quarters are hard to come by. I would stay again as the price/performance was excellent.

Cute, convenient, clean, wonderful and well-kept property! We were on a road trip to visit South Dakota for the first time and stayed here for one night, but easily could have stayed longer. The staff were super friendly, kind, and accommodating - especially traveling with a pup. You can pull your car up right to your room, which makes loading and unloading easy. The amenities are great - laundry, pool, pickleball and basketball, breakfast on site, cookies, etc. And lots of grass for potty breaks if you have a pup. It's also close to town and (20-30 minute scenic drives) to hiking and all the different attractions, which is nice. The only microscopic downsides were: the facility does not have a restaurant on premises that serves dinner (you have to go downtown). However, the rooms have a fridge and microwave - so, bring your own snacks and you'll be set. Also, if you're 6' tall, the ceilings are a little low and the sink sits below your waist to where you have to bend down a bit. But that's about it. It's such a lovely property, we would stay here again in the future!

Stayed as a couple for 3 nights to tour the Badlands area. Everything about this inn was convenient and restful, from the location to the room itself. It was quaint & charming in the best way—with modern conveniences. We chose a second floor room and it was very quiet; stairs only, which didn’t bothers us, but choose first floor if mobility issues. Only wish we could’ve stayed longer!
