Our stay at Hotel AKA Alexandria was everything we didn’t know we needed — stylish, peaceful, and right in the middle of everything we love: great food, walkable charm, and truly thoughtful guest service. From the moment we checked in, we felt welcomed and seen. The front desk team was attentive and kind, and room service? Quick, courteous, and attentive. The design of the hotel is modern and calming, but it still has personality. Our room was a dream — minimalist luxury with plush bedding, gorgeous lighting, and that rare mix of quiet and comfort that’s hard to find. One of the most unexpectedly beautiful touches was a silent reading event hosted during our stay. It felt so aligned with the calm, curated energy of the hotel — like they’re really about cultivating experience, not just accommodation. Loved seeing a space that values rest and presence. Plus, the location couldn’t be better. You’re steps away from local gems — cozy cafés, vibrant restaurants, and scenic streets made for morning strolls or golden hour photos. We never had to move our car — everything we needed was within walking distance, and that’s a win. Restaurant prices were very high. $78 for breakfast - 2 Glasses of OJ, 1 Croissant with fruit and 1 Eggs Benedict 2 coffees. Had to call Front Desk to get house keeping to clean the room and still had to chase down a house keeper. This was close to 3:00 PM. This happened each day. Staff was very friendly.

This property is beautiful very quiet and serene. I had an experience with a front desk personnel named Ernesto who was very disrespectful. But the general manager and another staff member named Isaiah were VERY HELPFUL AND AMAZING. They were super sweet, professional and respectful. They truly turned my experience around for the better. They have exceptional customer service and I really appreciated all they did to take care of me. I would definitely recommend this hotel and I will be returning.
