Car was broken into, noticed a shady guy walking around checking cig bins when pulling up, when I told front counter about break in and the shady guy, they said, " oh yes we have noticed that guy before " yet when asked if they have done anything the answer was ' NO ".
So, management know of a NON customer walking around but do nothing about it? VERY POOR.
Also, when I told them about the break in, they said, " yes unfortunately we have had some ", I then asked what they have done to prevent this knowing it is happening like getting a security company to do random drive by, hotel response was " just dial 9 on your phone". Not going to deter crimes when everyone's asleep and cannot notice the crim taking place.
I am an Accor member and use ACCOR a lot for work travel like this trip. It would have been nice for the manager to come to my room for a chat at the very least. For them to know about shady people walking around and car break in's happening and to not do anything extra is very disappointing and shows the lack of action that is not being taken to ensure their guest are safe.
I have logged a police report.
The rooms are also getting tired see pictures. The change from having toilet rolls to a cassette? What is going on MERCURE? Felt like I was at a service station toilet with small pieces of toilet paper being dispensed !!
