Upon arrival there were bugs found in the toilet, bathtub and bathroom floor. After showering and walking to the bed a large cockroach crawled across the nightstand table top. Pulling open the drawer multiple roaches ran out and scattered in both drawers. Absolutely disgusting and unacceptable. The room was extremely dated with furniture that was heavily worn.
Some services within the hotel were in disrepair (ex elevator, ice machine). The breakfast was exceptional and both kitchen attendants warm and friendly. Room was overly dark. Sink bump out made it hard to use. The bed was very comfortable.
I showed up a few hours early for check in, the lady at the front desk was very accommodating and was able to let me check in early, as well as having a lovely chat. All of the staff I interacted with on my stay were kind and courteous, and the room was clean and tidy
I was very disappointed when I arrived at the property and was told the swimming pool was not open for the summer. This was not posted on the hotel’s website when the reservation was made, and none of the sister properties in town would allow us to use their pool. I was not offered any type of discount or refund but was told I was get extra Hilton Honors points but I cannot confirm if that happened or not.
The only "issues" we had was the water pressure in the shower was terrible and the remote control looked like it had never been wiped down. We were surprised it wasnt a smart TV that allowed sign in to streaming services but they had cable channels that offered an ok mox. All of that staff we interacted with were amazing and friendly!
