Very Disappointed!

I'm surprised this hotel is part of the Wydham Family. The property is old and in terrible need of upgrades: the outdoor steps are cracked and a safety hazard, there were no elevators (I have problems with my knees), there is no water available for purchase on the property and the room had roaches. I was terribly dissatisfied but could do nothing as there were no other hotels available in the area for a Baylor visit as this was Family Weekend at Baylor. I would have taken pictures however, I was too busy killing small roaches with my shoe. Like I say above, I'm surprised this is a Wyndham Property, not like the Day's Inn I've stayed in before.

Beware! Expedia has allowed the property to use photos of another property. When my husband and I arrived we were very confused. I didn't know if there was an apartment building next to the hotel because there were men just hanging out drinking outside the steps of what I assume was their room. It was dark already and there were kids still swimming in the pool. The steps to get into the building to get to our room was missing concrete. There was an old smell mixed with a scent trying to mask bad scent. The floors felt old as we walked to our room even though the carpet looked new. The walls looked like just another layer of fresh paint masking underlying issues. The bathroom door hinges were loose. I had to lift the door to get it to close properly. We were supposed to stay two nights, but didnt like it nor did we feel safe so we decided to check out a few hours later. Was told I would only be responsible for 1 night, but am now getting the run around from Expedia and this property on a refund of 1 of my nights since I prepaid. Never going to book through Expedia again! Book this property at your own risk.

Gross, Overpriced Roach Motel

To start, there were two dead cockroaches in our room. The tub has cracks in the bottom, so the water gets through and has rotted out whatever kind of subfloor is beneath it making is squishy. The toilet wouldn’t flush, so we called the front desk. They said they would send someone in five minutes, but they didn’t come for almost eight hours. We went out in the evening and came back to a group of people loitering and drinking beer right outside of our room. We’d had enough so we decided to make the three hour drive home rather than stay another night. All of this for $150 a night.

Sheets were stained. There was only one guy working the desk and he couldn't find the person's reservation in front of us. That kept us in line for a crazy amount of time. Probably took me 30-40 minutes to check in. AC was so loud in my room. Not the normal wall unit loud, but the "something's broken" loud. The room was big so at least that.
