It's a motel in every sense. Outdated but neat and clean. Ocean grill is next door excellent food and atmosphere. Shopping does not get any more high end. Lots of boutiques. Close at 5 though. The bar by the ocean is quite the hangout. Kid friendly.

The beach right in front of the hotel was lovely. The pool was warm & clean. We were there for two nights, originally with a pool view room, but once we saw the ocean view we asked on the second night if it would be possible to upgrade to an ocean view room and they were able to accommodate us. All I can say is, pay for the upgrade - you won't regret it! The view was fantastic, the room was newly renovated, and the sound of the waves at night was relaxing. Thank you for the amazing stay!

Our visit to Vero Beach was fun filled.. we walked the downtown area, ate sushi, and enjoyed the outdoor pool.. the temps..a nice 80 degrees.. I give our stay 5 stars..

Don't pass this one by.

We just returned from a 4 night stay in this hotel. It is a previous holiday inn. No fridge, no microwave, but what it lacks in the room, it makes up for in comfort and location. First, you are right on the beach, making early morning walks and late night strolls effortless. The staff is AMAZING! Ready to help any way possible. The pool and grounds are really clean and well cared for. The beds are super comfy and we only had one night where noise was an issue, other than that, it was quiet. Lots of families with small children taking advantage of the proximity to the beach. Mulligan's is right there, attached and offers a great "tiki hut" experience. I would absolutely go back.
