Great little town with plenty of restaurants and shops. Hotel was a buy out from Days Inn, so it does need an upgrade not only throughout the premises but the rooms. Toiletry very humble. Bring your own. To compensate all that the employees are great. Very attentive to your needs, very polite. Overall if you're not looking for fancy stuff this is a good place to spend time and enjoy the beach. I had a good stay

Would have been 5 stars except that the patio sitting area was full of cigarette butts from previous users. This area should be cleaned just as if it was part of the room. The walkway from the beach to the hotel was in constant use, sometimes by unruly, drunken characters. As this is a ground floor, ocean front experience, it was loud and annoying.

clean, very close to the beach and was overall well maintained and well run. The attached restaurant has beachfront tables and eating breakfast watching the ocean was one of the highlights of my trip.

The hotel is an old Holiday Inn, so while no frills in nature, it is literally 100 steps to the beach. Mulligans restaurant is connected, which is very convenient. Know though that the restaurant automatically adds a service fee and 18% gratuity to the bill.

Disliked: Amenities
We were not impressed with this facility; it was old and not up to what we would expect for such a high price. It was nice to see the ocean from our room, but other than that, it was not worth the money (over $500 for two nights). The bedside lamp didn't work, the walk-in shower had no bath mat, and we almost fell when we stepped out of the shower to get another towel to use as a bath mat. Sorry for the negative review, but you asked.
