The actual room was very nicely appointed, the let down was that the AC wasn’t working for the 3 nights we were there, we had to have the windows open and were eaten up by Mosquitos that got in. I killed 6 !!

This place was immaculately kept and the amenities were excellent, especially the rooftop terrace! It was close to the Rialto bridge and easy access to everything. Our host, Maurizio, was friendly and helpful. The only caution, is the narrow stairs to get to our room. 68 stairs in total, which for some will be difficult (great exercise for us!). With Maurizio's help we were able to use the luggage lift for the first 50 stairs and then carry the luggage the other 18 to our room. When we left we were not able to use the luggage lift and had to carry the luggage down. Lovely place!

Loved my stay at La Finestra sulle Beccarie! The room was clean, spacious, and in an amazing location, close to everything but still quiet at night. The staff were all really friendly and helpful, which made the whole experience even better. Would definitely stay here again next time I’m in Venice!

Central location, just five minutes walk to the Rialto bridge. We were apprehensive that being so central would mean lots of noise but that was not the case. The shutter and windows offer black out nights sleep and our room was silent. It is only when you open the windows you hear the huddle and bustle. Super friendly host and lovely house keeper for that boutique feel. Hotel suite super clean and lots of additional complimentary extras to make for a special stay. My only tiny recommendation would be the addition of dressing gowns as slippers were provided. The private and rooftop area was set up beautifully and the rooftop is a great place to catch the sun setting.

Thank you, Maurizio, for offering such a wonderful place to stay for our first trip to Venice. It is beautiful, clean, well-equipped and in a great location, close to the Vaporetto and the Rialto bridge, and within easy walking distance to San Marco Square. Seeing our first Venetian sunset from the amazing rooftop terrace, glasses of complimentary sparkling wine in hand, was a lovely intro to the magical city of Venezia. We’d definitely stay here again.

We stayed here for two nights and it was great. Maurizio was very welcoming and ensured we had everything we needed. The kitchen was equipped with some snacks for breakfast each morning and we appreciated the filtered water dispenser, which is often hard to find. The location is great (not too crowded, but close to everything) and the rooftop views were awesome.
