Very comfortable stay for the week , rooms were clean and house keeping came every day. The beds were exceptionally nice and so cozy!! Absolutely beautiful view of the ocean. The free breakfast: eggs ,hash browns, pancakes, toast, cereals, with all the juices and coffee… very nice added bit to the stay. Overall it’s an older hotel but they made it look beautiful

The Anchor Inn is a nice property overlooking the water. Our room was very nice with comfortable beds and a nice bathroom. A fridge and microwave were also provided. Our room was on the first floor and it would have been nicer to have been at least one floor up as our view was mostly of the parking lot and was a bit noisier than if we had been up higher. Our only other issue was that there were no drawers or shelves to put our clothes in. There was a big closet which could have held a shelf for clothes and it would have been nice to have more than the 4 coat hangers that were provided. Dinner in the restaurant was very good.

Whilst a nice location and hotel, getting around it was awkward. It is a split level hotel and there is only 1 lift that does not serve all floors, The breakfast that was offered in the price, was of poor quality, but there was an option to purchase other items

We had a view of the river. Was great as we saw cruise ships, dolphins, seals and multiple breeds of birds. Unfortunately the hotel is outdated. Our room was one of the updated rooms. Our screen door to the balcony was sticky and took a bit of strength to open and close it. Elevator was only available from 1-4 floors. Anything higher and you're taking the stairs which can be a nuisance when bringing in your luggage. Staff was pleasant and helpful.

The room was directly below the restaurant which sounded like elephants stomping until past 10 and started again at 7am. There was an elevator in the shared wall that made it sound like a jet landing every 5 minutes. When i got out of the shower and grabbed a towel, there was a large matt of black hair embedded in it, i grabbed a second towel and it had a long black hair in it. Needless to say I would not go back

They’ve done some rentals which I like, but be careful if you get put on the second floor you’ll be in between the dog floor and the restaurant not great
