Booking for 2026 has started! Now is the time to book for 2026 season before someone else takes your date. Beside Floating there is off road riding (UTV and ATV), and hiking. You will delight in this tranquil, spacious home nestled in the beautiful Missouri Ozark forest! The large wraparound covered gated deck is eye level with the forest canopy. Watch wildlife, hear the songs of birds, feel the breeze, and gaze at stars, feel the warmth of the fire at the outdoor fire ring and embrace the peace and beauty of this forested property. The circle drive through the woods allows easy access to Bass Rock Drive and is about 5 minutes from Van Buren. Three bedrooms and three bathrooms and two extra guest sleeping spaces on two levels are perfect to accommodate your large group up to 10 and up to 3 canine family members are welcome! Kayak, Canoe, Raft, or Tube the crystal-clear Current River! Many hiking trails are nearby; the Ozark Trail trailhead is 15 minutes away. Initial confusion about location: "562" on mailbox; "572" on listing. Beautiful setting in Ozark highlands and convenient to amenities: veritable tree house! Large porches are super pet friendly. Plenty of room and seating. Great kitchen with many appliances: perhaps replace some skillets. Saggy 2d bedroom mattress. Downstairs may benefit from a small TV.

This property was awesome!We have camped for the last 14 years for our annual float trip and finally made the switch to a cabin rental and we may never go back to camping.We all had everything we needed and were comfortable. The house was clean, spacious, well stocked with supplies and the wrap around patio was so nice and peaceful that we grilled both nights and enjoyed time outside during the rain. Parking was great! Great communication from the owners.We would definitely rent this property again next year.

Great home for a larger group. The back porch is one of the best features because of its size and width. Good place for children. Home is well located-- close to most of the outdoor attractions. Hosts were responsive in a timely manner. Home is clean, well maintained and safe.

Beautiful home!

This house was perfect for our group. It is in a great location for enjoying the river. Close to town, but in a peaceful setting. The wrap around deck is relaxing. The home was stocked with everything you need. The hosts were very responsive.

House was immaculately clean, in extremely pleasant surroundings. The deck was lovely and we enjoyed sitting outside in the evenings very much, overall a nice stay but there were some challenges. On the downside: We had some difficulty on the steep gravel driveway with our one non 4 wheel drive vehicle. The mattresses on the main level were extremely firm and uncomfortable. I was traveling with 2 disabled elderly folks, which I had discussed with the host; the queen sized bed sat up way too high for a handicapped person to safely get in, and one set of bathroom grab bars around the toilet in master bath was placed too far back on the wall to be of any help. There were no folding luggage racks in the bedrooms and no hooks on bathroom doors for wet towels. Finally, this house was expensive to rent, and for the price I thought the host could have NOT required the guests to provide their own bath tissue. Covid shortages have resolved at this point, I think basic hospitality should include toilet paper, it was just one more thing for me to pack.

Inner Peace 😃

The property is gorgeous and well maintained. The location is perfect for those who want to experience bird songs all day along. Thomas has nice collection of books too. I give 9/10 for the experience to the overall experience. The only Correction needed in listing is for number of bedrooms, the actual bedrooms are 3 and two rooms have sofa - bed . However my overall experience was really great , Thank you Thomas for quick responses.

Perfect for families

The house is perfect! We were in town for a family wedding and we all stayed in this house. It was well stocked with essentials, secluded, and has a beautiful wraparound deck that we really enjoyed. It was clean and we had more than enough space and bathrooms for everyone. Being dog friendly was a huge bonus for us and our dog loved being able to check out the surrounding woods. The owners were very friendly and helpful, and responded right away to any questions we had. If we are ever in the area again, we will absolutely book this house again!

1st Guest To Ever Stay Here - Best Place I've Ever Stayed

This was by far the best place I've ever stayed. The house is super big & had plenty of room. The 3 teenage boys were all downstairs away from us adults. The 4 adults had the 2 bedrooms upstairs. It was perfect. The house is so clean. It is in a great location, close to everything & so secluded. The owners are wonderful hosts & we had everything we needed from them. The pictures do not do this place justice. We will be back next year on another float trip. It was so peaceful & beautiful to wake up, sit out on deck &, watch all the hummingbirds. DO NOT MISS OUT ON RENTING THIS AMAZING PLACE!
