On arrival we were greeted by a friendly and personable young woman (sorry didn't get her name). Although our room wasn't quite ready she found us another room so we were able to check in immediately which we appreciated, as we'd had an early start from London. Our room, 409, was very clean, with all the facilities to meet our needs. There were no hot drink facilities in our room however we discovered on day 3 of our stay, that we were able to borrow a kettle from reception. We should perhaps have asked sooner. Breakfast was plentiful with hot options too, and there were different types of milk to suit those with allergies/intolerances which I was grateful for. There are allocated time slots for breakfast allowing half an hour for each time slot. Sometimes guests overstayed their half an hour and it was necessary to queue. Replenishment was slow at times although when asking, food was quickly topped up. The location of the hotel is perfect to walk to all the most relevant sights, and bus stops are within walking distance too to explore further afield. All staff we had the pleasure to come in contact with were very friendly and helpful, service with a smile. The hotel met all our needs for location, cleanliness, friendly staff and good breakfast. We felt it would be good to have a lounge area for those waiting for taxis on departure day, rather than having to sit by the front entrance, or in the dining room. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and would highly recommend.

The front desk staff were very helpful and welcoming. Our room was facing the street. It was clean and comfortable and had great, arty decor. A/C worked well & we had everything we needed. We stayed 2 nights, 1st night it was little bit noisy but not the 2nd. Breakfast was plentiful with hot and cold items. It's in a great location for walking to Valencia's attractions. Highly recommended, I would return.

We have booked 3 double rooms, identical pricing, and one room was significantly smaller that the other two, and while the two had normal size beds, No. 106 only had a 140 cm bed as a double bed. It was very uncomfortable to be squeezed on a small bed like that. An even bigger problem was that in two rooms (106 and 107) the warm water was almost non-existent, you had to ask every time the front desk to do something and they knew what to do, so obviously were aware of the maintenance issue but during the week the problem was not resolved and we had to shower in cold water almost every day as you do not have 20-30 minutes all the time to wait until the boiler is mended temporarily. The noise sealing is not very good, it is an issue especially on the side of the main road but during Falla at every side.The breakfast was the same every day with decent selection, but you have to book a time slot as the dining room is small. The staff is very friendly and service minded and tried to help with everything. The hotel is clean and overall well maintained (except the boiler issue). Checkout time is 12:00, which is very generous. Location is very well situated, in the heart of the city in walking distance from all attractions and many restaurants. With little adjustments this could be easily an excellent hotel.

Brilliant location

Hotel location is brilliant, rooms were fine, however being right in the centre of course there was a lot of noise at night particularly at the back of the hotel where there is some form of hall, plus a house being refurbished. For me the bed and pillows were too soft but that’s a personal thing. Breakfast was really good. The real downside was aircon locked at 22 degrees minimum and being off season not on, although it could be put on it warmed to 22 (probably my lack of expertise) and because of the noise we were unable to open the windows

Very friendly hotel in great location in the centre of the old town close to main square. The lovely receptionist Elisa gave us great advice for exploring on arrival for our long weekend break. Wacky, fun and very spacious themed rooms, air con and coffee machine plus small fridge in room Rituals shower, hair, hand body lotion provided. Very large comfy bed and although our bedroom with balcony looked over the main street it was very quiet at night. We would book again.
