One of our all time favorite places we have rented through VRBO. It was a perfect blend of 1930's historical charm but with modern updated accommodations. The Screen porch was a perfect place to hang out. The layout with the 3 bedrooms on the main floor was a great layout. The beds were all comfortable. We did not need the 4th bedroom on the lower level which would have felt very disconnected from the rest of the house if anyone needed that extra bedroom, but since we didn't it was perfect for our group. The covered parking was great and the lower level was a great staging and gathering area for our outings., with lots of room for beach gear. The location was great as well, while it was a long walk on the boardwalk over the dunes to the beach, we felt that was a great experience to walk across the dunes, and was close enough that we could easily go back to the house if we needed to for restroom or food, etc, It was also only a 15 min walk to shops and restaurants, which was close enough to walk without being in the middle of the activity, and we didn't have to worry about parking. It was a very quiet street in a perfect spot in the mid beach area. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware and dishes but could have used some steak knives and bowls. But overall, we fell in love with the place. I so often am ready to get back home after a week away, but I felt like I could have stayed in this house two more weeks and we were all sad to have to leave it at the end of our week.
