It is a charming hotel, with great staff. But the facilities in the room were antiquated. The towel rail fell off all the time. The shower was difficult to use, the timer on the heater did not switch off automatically. The window was kept closed with a broom handle.

Beautiful hotel in nice setting with views of the mountains (and lots of homes). Had an issue with my door lock. Took 3 trips to the front desk get the room door to open. Just a quirk with the lock but I should have been informed before entering the room.

Really special place. Three swimming pools, three hot tubs, two restaurants, a cool bar, beautiful grounds and gorgeous rooms with mountain views. Nestled in the Catalina Foothills, the resort is not far from great hiking and downtown Tucson.

We loved our rooms, dinner at both restaurants, the grounds & pools, the spa...basically the whole experience was great!! Not sure I should say all this as I don't want too many people to find out about my hidden gem and make it hard to get reservations..LOL

This location is really great. For being historically registered, it is well maintained with great service. The restaurant is also top line with food quality and service.
