Beautiful facility but perhaps too quiet for us at this time of year—pickleball and tennis courts empty (save for one court where private lessons were being held)—no round robins or signups for casual play among guests:(. Would be a great place to come with team or like-minded people to play! Lap pool heated but other pool cold; no sauna or steam room. Breakfast buffet with made to order eggs great on weekend; during week breakfast was adequate. Our favorite and nicest staff member was Anthony at the bar, with tequila tasting;) and Happy Hour snacks. Our unit was very nice but TV functionality was experiencing difficulties; mini fridge but no microwave.

It may have been a Grand Resort at one time but sadly no longer. Everything was outdated, TV's did not work, cockroaches on the wall. It is badly out of date but the price was too much for the condition. Will not be staying again. Please choose another place to stay.

I was in building 22 on the bottom floor. The ceiling creaked so loudly with every step taken by the person staying above me. They got up several times so it was really tough to get solid sleep. Also I believe the walls are very thin because I could also hear every toilet flush and shower around my room. I’d planned to tell the lady at the front desk when I checked out but she didn’t bother to ask how my stay was.

Staff was not welcoming, especially to younger adults. The walls are very thin. We could hear the people sneezing next door. The tv was very old and did not have many channels. The photos are not an accurate representation of the rooms. Also had random charges on my card during my stay here.

We enjoyed our stay. The rooms are rather outdated with dirty carpets. The maid left our slider open while we were gone and we came home to a ton of flies in our room. Spent hours killing flies so we didn’t have them buzzing around our faces all night!!

Make sure you bolt the door!

Maid walked in on my husband on I while in shower. 😳 We were obviously there so there was zero excuse to go into the bathroom. The tv didn't work on 90% of the channels, it was just pixelated. We wanted to watch the football playoff games and couldn't. Frustrating. But it is very clean and comfy other than those issues.

I don't typically give such a poor review, but this is supposed to be a high end resort and it is not. The young women who checked me in seemed like a robot, and didn't seem to be enjoying her job. She handed me a map and told me where to park for my unit. Upon arrival I opened the door to find scattered dead leaves in the entrance way. There was a long black hair on the bathroom floor and another one in the fridge! Then as I was unpacking an inch long black beetle crawled across the carpet (I saved him and took him outside.). The shower water ran too cold to enjoy and the shower head was so calcified that the water sprayed in every direction. To top off the bad shower experience, the water drained so slow, I was standing in pooled dirty water for the short, frigid duration of the shower. The bed was very uncomfortable and the room overall was very dated.

We stayed 1 night and the hotel was lightly occupied. Nice natural setting with walking trail and gardens where they grew some of their own food. There were fruit trees and cacti that supported hummingbirds. We liked the fire bowl seating between the restaurant and pool. Since the breakfast buffet was not active, we were allowed to order equivalent priced meals from the menu. The food was very good with a mix of traditional breakfast and Southwestern options. The only thing we did not like was the shower in our room. It was slippery, the door did not stay closed, and there is a minutes long delay between when you select a temperature and when water of that temperature arrives. This means it starts at the temperature the last person used, then switches to the temperature you selected after a couple minutes. If you guessed wrong, you get to let it run for a couple more minutes. The temperature that feels pleasant looks like it should be cold and temperatures that look like they should be moderate are very hot. The shower was clean and beautiful, just a not well designed.
