The place was very clean and comfortable. Very nice soaking sized tub. The front desk attendant, I believe her name is Laura, was very helpful and gave me a stellar dinner recommendation. Definitely will stay here again!

Pretty location if you are in the building overlooking the Gorge. Unfortunately we were in the room with a view of noisy hwy and off ramp. I was told when I booked that I’d see the gorge from window but only saw hwy. Room was very small and not a lot of space to walk around the bed.

Very friendly, helpful staff. Good location in HR but very poor amenities for this price point. Unsecure, unreliable and slow shared WiFi. Poor tv station selections. No ice except at office. No bottled water except for purchase in office. Office is closed at night. Checked out a day early but charged for that day anyway.

So charming, quiet and conveniently located, check-in was easy and staff was helpful. I did have an issue with the fireplace beeping almost the entire time I was there. I was still able to sleep, but it was a bit annoying.

Hoped for some views and peace and quiet in a relatively expensive hotel but it was pretty bare bones. Didn’t have a microwave, breakfast, parking was competitive, no views, no hair dryer and you had to go into the office to ask at the front desk for ice. Office didn’t open until 8 so we couldn’t heat up a quick breakfast in the microwave. No breakfast offered. The hotel next door was fabulous! We dined outside with great views and explored the garden and played games in the bar area while being serenaded by a live piano. We had no views at our hotel and there wasn’t an elevator for our second floor room which isn’t a big deal except for a handicapped individual - which I am. It is also right next to the busy highway so it wasn’t the secluded cliffside hotel I had hoped for. For the price I had hoped for more amenities. It just wasn’t a convenient stay for us.

This was a fabulous place to stay in Hood River with close proximity to the downtown and Hood River Waterfront Park which has many dining options. Our room had a view of the Columbia River, was clean and had excellent anemities including robes, coffee and tea, a mini refrigerator and comfortable bedding. We were greeted by Meredith in the front office who was delightful!

Don’t stay here.

The first surprise was having to carry our bags up a flight of stairs. The check in person said we could upgrade our room for an additional fee. The lack of elevator was "difficult " to find on the website. This looks intentional. The room had a musty smell, partially covered by some product that smells horrible. Like artificial cherry. It was in the towels. The ac didn't work properly. Cold in daytime and ineffective at night. The wi-fi was weak. The restaurant was not open when we went for breakfast. The sound of cars and trucks from the close highway was heard all night. There was a great view from the gardens and in fact the gardens were lovely. The staff uses them for smoking. There were even more issues.

Great place to relax!

The location was relaxing and the service was friendly and responsive. Sitting in the outdoors with comfortable chairs, a cool breeze, and watching the wind surfers on the river was a sublime experience. Wonderful!

Loved our stay at the Columbia Cliffs Villas! The staff is amazing, the villas are super updated and clean, and overall it was just an incredible experience! We had many friends staying right next door that were disappointed in their hotel and ended up switching to ours! Definitely recommend the CCVs and will return as soon as we are able to get back to the PNW again.
