Lovely “quirky” home….
Dominique’s home was lovely…. Very quirky and very reminiscent of her families travels. The property was clean on arrival and spacious downstairs. The shower room was odd being downstairs and at the back of the house but it didn’t cause too many problems in all honesty.
The master bedroom was lovely, but had no where to hang your clothes and no mirror.
The second bedroom was much smaller and again had nowhere to hang your clothes and very little cupboard space either and again no mirror.
The outside space was lovely, but it could have done with some loungers… the pool was lovely to have but was freezing! Such a shame as one of the reasons we chose the property was because of the pool. To be fair it did warm up by the end of our stay… and we did use it most day.
We sat out every evening…. Which again was lovely… although the comfy outdoor table and chairs shown in the photos were nowhere to be seen and the one there instead was ok… but not comfy… no cushions etc.
Also the mosquitoes were plentiful!! Nothing the property owner can do about that obviously. But for anyone allergic to mosquito bites it might be worth noting.
The property is about a 10 minute walk from the Metro through a residential area. Lidl is about 10-15 minutes away as well but there is very little else around the area. We hired a car for a few days and it was definitely worth doing that.
Overall we had a lovely stay, there were just some things that could have made life a little easier
