I've stayed in a few 3 star hotels in Japan and this is probably the best I've stayed in. They all have tiny rooms but it's perfectly adequate. Some of these hotels have a smell of cigarette smoke but the smoking floor in this hotel is the top floor and there was no smell at all, even one floor below. It's a perfect location as others have mentioned, there's a convenience store on one side,a pretty good cafe on the other side, lots of good cheap restaurants and cafes within a couple of minutes walk etc. Ginza is a great shopping and entertainment district very close to the waterfront and the central part of Tokyo. Also there's a direct train to Haneda airport from Higashi-Ginza station.

Lovely hotel in a convenient location

I checked in at 10 pm with no issues. My room was clean, comfortable and cosy. The room was a bit small, bit on Tokyo, that's the normal size. I forgot to bring a wall plug for my phone, and was quickly given one by the person at the front desk. Every morning there was a breakfast which was always delicious. Really can't find any negatives about this place! The location was fantastic, right next to the Metro and restaurants. I would recommend this place and return to it myself!

Hard to find if you don't read Japanese

Pros: The reception desk had a very great English speaker for us to clearly give us all the information we needed!
Cons: A sign in English would be a great help!
Location: With the train station having multiple exits, it is hard to know which one to take and which direction to go in once you reach street level.
The Japanese people are wonderful and it was random strangers that literally put us inside the elevator to the 2nd floor entrance to check in. There is no signs in English for this hotel on the street or on the hotel and we would have walked right past it at night and almost did! The breakfast was great. The room, neat, clean etc but the previous reviews of it being small for western size luggage was totally right and we only had 2 small rolling carry on size case with us!
