This property is awful!! It’s dirty, zero towels, no ice, no breakfast as advertised, had to change rooms twice, very unhelpful staff and a cold pool. Asked for a refund and they refunded us $10.88 for 2 rooms… Horrible place, DO NOT STAY HERE

It was terrible we will not be back. The outside of the hotel was dirty and not kept up with. Inside is dirty in all aspects. No towels, no breakfast. The elevator kept getting stuck. The hallways were filthy. So much dust on the furniture in the rooms. The tub wouldn’t hold water. Some of the lights in the room didn’t work

When selecting this hotel, the website said that the hotel has free breakfast. We were disappointed when we found out that there was no breakfast. That forced us to pay for four extra meals that we did not anticipate or budget for for our trip. Plus, had we known the hotel did not actually have breakfast at this time (and also the on site restaurant and bar were closed indefinitely), we would've booked elsewhere. Our room was dirty and there were 3 holes in the walls with exposed wires. The hotel grounds in general were very dirty. Oh, and the back entrance door simply never locked. Anyone could've entered the hotel through the unmonitored back entrance at any time day or night.

Strange beyond belief

I arrived very late to check in to find a young lady working. She was FaceTiming with someone that was cussing and telling her that family members needed to get their lives together. At first I thought the talking was a show she was watching but then she began talking to the person. The directions on how to get to the room were very sketchy so we ended up going through the first floor door that had a scan thing on it but it did not work and the door latch also did not work as you could just pull it open. There were rooms wide open in the process of being fixed and construction items everywhere. We got to the elevator and discovered only 1 partially worked. Make sure you push the floor button when you get in a couple times and once you reach the floor as the door does not open unless you push the floor button again. The room was nice the bed was comfortable but once you walk out of your room oh boy!! The 2nd floor had just as much “stuff” in the halls as the 1st floor. The sauna was out of order, pool heater was broken and no breakfast, coffee, tea or juice was served but they had a nook that looked like it use to have it there but the staff was too lazy to do it either day we stayed. On the 2nd morning I went to get fresh towels and wash clothes (7am) only to be told they had not yet done laundry for the day so no clean towels. The desk clerk was able to find 2 clean wash clothes and 2 pool towels after another employee mentioned to her they had the pool towels.

I have photos of the bugs. There was a disgusting stained chair in our room. The indoor pool was freezing. Most of the hotel smelled musty except for the areas that smelled like marijuana… Very strong marijuana smells in the hallways.

Horrible hotel

This Days Inn is what I was not expecting when I booked. I got there right at check in time, the booking said there was breakfast available so not true, the kitchen was shut down. I was okay no big deal. Then I got further into the hotel which is getting completely remodeled, they had flooring in places, wires were exposed and some off the hotel doors to go in the room were lefted open. I gave them the benefit of the doubt since I was going to be there for only two days. Then I got back from visiting places, noticed my room had flying insects all tound, I cleaned up as much as I could. Went to bed but gotten woken up from a fight in our hall way someone got shoved into my door fighting and speaking very loud and throwing racial slurs around. This went on for about an hour. Also the back doors are not locked anyone from the streets can run in a sleep in any one of the rooms that are open. This is not okay. This is not safe for anyone of their guests. I have been trying to get in touch with the hotel manger but seems to be always busy. This hotel needs to be looked at with a professional inspection.

Rooms are being beautifully renovated. So impressed with the upgrades! Was a little disappointed the continental breakfast was on pause due to the renovations and wish the pool was kept warm enough to enjoy. I have been coming to this hotel for 30+ years to visit family, and I’m so happy to see it being brought back to life.

What until renovations are completed

Hotel is under renovations, at least that's what we were told. Both the restaurant and lounge/bar are closed. There was no continental breakfast as was advertised. Bed frame was broken, no microwave or coffee maker in room although advertised. Towels were almost non existent, we were given 2 for 3 people. Any bought trash bags to empty trash cans. Spiders and bugs in room and throughout the hallways. One elevator does not have the COO or Emergency info like required. The only good thing is the staff was friendly. There is a reason why I was not asked at check out "how was your stay".

Not the best

Because of the holiday weekend, there were limited hotel options in Warren. I really wish I had read the reviews before I booked. When we pulled up to the hotel, it literally looked abandoned. Checked in and was told that they have no breakfast, the restaurant and bar are closed indefinitely, and the pool is open but the heater is broken so the water is 70 degrees. On the way to our room on the 3rd floor, the elevator smelled of pot, the light fixtures in the hallway were falling off and we noticed several doors no longer had key card readers…they were gone and you could see straight into the rooms. Room had terribly outdated furniture, but appeared to be pretty clean. We had a room with a balcony overlooking the pool area, and when we checked in there were empty beer cans on the balcony from the previous guest. I was at the front desk 4 times in 2 days getting room keys reprogrammed because they stopped working. Also the external doors to the hotel are open all night, they never lock. Not sure why anyone would want to come into this hotel, but it’s definitely not secure. Looks like they’re attempting to remodel, but in the meantime, this place is a mess. The pictures online are clearly from at least 10 years ago, definitely not recent!

Though Expedia said there was breakfast and a pool, there was no breakfast and pool was closed half the stay and then was open but not heated. This hotel was cheap and I guess you get what you pay for. The key card basically had to be reprogrammed every day to get into our room. Our room didn’t have enough towels. The bedding was clean and comfy but the general cleanliness of the hotel was not great.

The room was filthy. My wife had to buy cleaning supplies to clean a room herself. I reserved a room with two queen size beds. We were downgraded to two double beds. There was dead bugs all over the bedside stand. My daughter had a spider crawl out of her pillowcase. When I told them they did not inform me of the downgrade they said they didn’t have to because the place is under renovations. They did not offer no refund. We only stayed two nights and then we ended up getting another hotel room at another hotel. I complained about the smell of drugs to the front desk and they said that it’s legal in New York so the cops won’t do nothing about it. There was no coffee. There was no phone in the room every time the fridge was opened up it smelt like sewage the elevator stock. The doors wouldn’t open. The pool was closed. Dining room was not even open. The bar wasn’t open. They had towels to help seal The skylight just outside the fourth floor elevator. I had a dog chase me and my kids and my wife down the hall. I said something about it. They said it was a service animal . Service animals are trained not to chase not to pull on leashes. It was a horrible experience the whole way around. I will never stay there again. If I could give them a 0 I would but it has to be at least a 1.
