Saw the 2024 eclipse there. Room was spacious and clean. Shower had hot water with good pressure.

Horrible. Room was not prepared when we arrived. Missing some items. Loud housekeeper woke us up. Bed got more uncomfortable as the days went on. No breakfast. Shower barely functioned. Find somewhere else to stay. Oh, and the parking was impossible to find, as they do not shovel their lot.

Staff was rude. They tried to not let me stay with my service animal, claimed i needed to show them her certificate (which legally i do not) was very rude. Room was not fully cleaned. Stains on the floor. Night staff was great but did not make up for thenrude day shift

The only positive about this property is it's location to the covered bridge festival. The room was filthy. We wiped everything down and sprayed everything including the bedding with Lysol. Pillows should be thrown away, we bought our own at Walmart. Towels are fraying and now gray, used to be white. Even the hallways need to at least be vacuumed. Doorways propped open with washcloths. No luggage carts. Take some pride in your property. We will never stay there again.

The hotel was as we expected, just a basic place in a small town. The shower dripped pretty badly in our room and the breakfast service was bad. The coffee was cold, the food consisted of cereal, bananas, bread to toast, tiny donuts and a gallon each of milk and orange juice. Charging $175.00 per night, we expected a little nicer breakfast.

About as bad as it gets

This hotel is centrally located however that is irrelevant due to the dirty conditions and upkeep. The room was moldy, had stained linens and scratchy ,old blankets. The handicap bars in the bathroom were completely covered in rust, making them unsafe for someone if they needed to use. The towels were literally grey from water. They were disgusting and I have hard water where I'm from. We were afraid to shower and slept on top on the covers. I wouldn't stay here again :(

Covered Bridge Festival stay

We stay here nearly every year. The hotel has aged & remains open, but is still clean, safe & a welcoming place to stay. Not many upgrades or ameneties, but they still offer a continental breakfast & it is very clean with good beds & bathrooms. Only disappointment was our room heater/cooling unit. It was in need of an overhaul as it was very powerful, even on low. We had a nice, pleasant stay. Will be here again next year.

The bathroom was very poor - very small toilet, low toilet unfiinished floor after taking out the sink. . The covered chair was in bad need of a recover. The lighting was VERY poor. The ceiling one was take out but left, no lighting my the covered chair. The one bed was very poor - very lumpy and not at all comfortable. The continental breakfast was a joke. No fruit at all, no yogurt, a gal of orange juice that tasted aweful. The hallway floor (carpet was dirty and needed to be shampooed. One of the hallway ceiling lights was out making for a dark hallway. The lighting in the room where you could eat breakfast was also very dark with bad lighting.

Being off season would be a wonderful time for the owners to update. This could be a really nice place, if it was cared for and updated. It wasn't terrible, but would only stay again if only thing available for another last minute trip. Person checking us in was nice. There was no one around when we checked out at 8am.
