The Neighborhood:
Located in the heart of Mountain Village, this home provides the perfect setting for every season. In winter, enjoy ski-in and out access via the Lower Galloping Goose trail and proximity to lifts and gondolas connecting to downtown Telluride. Summer brings hiking, mountain biking, and golf, all nearby. The neighborhood is peaceful and upscale, with stunning alpine views and easy access to restaurants, cafes, and shops in the Village Core.

Getting Around:
A car is recommended for flexibility, though the home’s ski-in and out access and proximity to the Mountain Village gondola system make getting around easy without one in the winter season. The gondola is free and connects Mountain Village with downtown Telluride. Drive to Telluride in about 20 minutes, or ride the scenic gondola year-round.

Interaction with Guests:
Please keep in mind that if you plan to ski, you are responsible for verifying the ski resorts’ opening and closing dates. The ski-in and out is about 100 yards from the home and access is based on the roads and runs being covered with snow.

Please note that like most homes in the area, this home does not have A/C.

4-wheel drive or 2-wheel drive tires with snow chains may be necessary for safe travel to this property, even if it hasn’t snowed in a few days.

We appreciate the owners opening up their home. This house does have amazing potential. However, the stay was disappointing. The biggest issue was the cleanliness, which should be priority #1 for any Owner. Throw pillows, blankets, floor mats, all with visible dust build up. We ultimately ended up stacking all the aforementioned items in a corner as they were just unusable & flat out dirty. The house has spectacular balconies, but again, the were practically unsuable as they were dirty & we were all turned off to the point that we did not feel comfortable spending time out there, even though the weather & views were amazing. Not to harp on the disappointment of the cleanliness but the last straw was when we found old peanut shells under & bw the couches on both the 1st floor suite & the main couch in the upstairs living room. We are not sure if there was a cleaning company hired before our arrival but regardless if the cleaning company underperformed or not, the Owner or some type of final QC check should've caught this. Regarding the description of "ski in ski out", this is very misleading and we would NOT consider this a ski in ski out. The only way to get to the nearest run, which is roughly a property or two away, is by going through the neighbors private driveway. This is by no means as advertised.The house has amazing potential but in our personal experience, for the cost, its just not up to par with our other rental experiences in Mountain Village.

This is a really large and beautiful property. There were 9 family members including 2 children. The room set ups were nice with comfortable beds and bathrooms. The master was especially big. We had a few issues that were rectified quickly. The snow this year all over Co. hasn’t been the best but we made the best of our skiing. I was disappointed that the description of the home was ski-in, ski-out and maybe if we had had more snow, it could have been, but I wouldn’t consider that an accurate description. In the future, I will be more careful in selecting a place with that description. Saying that, the views were spectacular and the distance to the Village and Gondola was not far. There was no sponge or wash rag when we arrived, the coffee pot leaked and we weren’t sure about which thermostat worked for each room. I called a few times with no answer, then texted and got a relatively quick response.

This property was one of the gem you can find if staying at mountain village, CO. great view of mountains from the house, less than 15 mins drive to ski resort and other breakfast and dinner places. loved our stay there.
