I had booked another property, but had to rebook my entire trip after testing positive for Covid and that hotel was not available.
This is a very family oriented complex with many different kinds of accommodations. All That was available for me was their apartment, which was fine though I really did not need all of the kitchen facilities. I did appreciate all that space for a change though.
The bathroom had soap and towels left over from the last guest.
I made the reservation with Hotels.com which requested a deposit for my three nights stay. But they charge me for the full stay ahead of time. And I’m observing that this may be a problem with Gisborne accommodations: my original pre-Covid hotel, charged me for the full stay six months out ahead of time. I wrote that property and requested a refund which they did give me. I definitely suggest guests in Gisborne keep an eye out that the payment and payment arrangements are what they agreed to on Hotels.com
