The mattress on the double bed was essentially broken and after an period of trying to get to sleep finally moved to a single bed which was fine. Sleep is imperative for most and if important to you suggest you find somewhere else to stay

The room was very nice and cozy but the tv was placed in an area on the wall where it was easy to hit yor head on in the dark when goin to the bathroom exiting the bed

The room looked great and was an impressive size. Everything we needed for our 4 night stay was available. Very clean. The linen was good quality. There was some noise from the nearby restaurant/bar on Friday & Saturday night. On the other hand it was very conveniently located for great meals.

Great staff, very helpful and friendly. Lovely unit with wonderful decor and personal elegant touches. Very clean, and all things need. Very comfortable and good quality furniture, appliances and hardware. Great location, handy to hospital, church, cemetery, eating out, and just a few minutes from town, beach and airport.

Thank you for your feedback on your stay. It was lovely to host your time in Gisborne! Fortunately it is rare for the rescue helicopters to be needed as they are noisy if they come in over the motel to cross to the hospital. Wishing you safe travels!
