It was an ideal location for our visit to Evandale, close to everything we wanted to do and very well presented. The cottage is nicely renovated, it was warm (a must in a Tassie autumn) and quiet. We didn’t have a lot to do with the owners but found the lady very friendly when we did. Definitely recommended.

We were late arriving and the proprietor arranged access to the premises. The rooms were warm and comfortable. The cottage had a homely feel. The kitchen was well-equipped with matching china. The provision for breakfast was good. The bathroom and shower excellent with plenty of towels if needed. The cottage is a short walk to the shops.

A perfect place to lay your head!

After a long day we were delighted to open the back door of Arendon Cottage and see our digs for the night. It is so well appointed and comfortable, a perfect place to stay. The gardens are so pretty and it is in the heart of a lovely Tassie village.

A very relaxing stay.

Arendon is a lovely cottage situated in the village of Evandale. The cottage is extremely clean with everything you need for a relaxing stay. It is very private with a nice courtyard. Breakfast supplies are provided for length of stay. Karen is a wonderful host and had the heater on for us when we arrived which was very much appreciated. Evandale is a pretty village which we used as our base for exploring North East Tasmania.

I visited the town of Evandale and stayed at beautiful Arendon Cottage, which is situated on the main street. I truly thought this I was the first guest as the house was immaculately clean, especially the bathroom and kitchen. The owners were so polite and very kind. We loved this place, it was quiet, cosy and comfortable. everything we could have needed and more was available to us. The atmosphere was one of restfulness and the age and history of the cottage added to the ambience. Our host was welcoming and friendly. We could not have asked for more and would have loved staying longer.
