Loved the charm at The Lodge and staff were great!! Only concern was we booked a room with a river view but you cannot see River from the room. Trees block the view. Room should not be advertised as such, very disappointing.

Wakulla Lodge was great! The gentleman who checked us in was so friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and nice, and everything was exceptionally clean ( loved that there wasn't a TV).The boat tour was so much fun, and educational.The cheeseburgers were some of the best we've ever had. We sat outside for a long time, and watched people swimming and having fun in the water. It was wonderfully relaxing. The desk clerk that night(she had beautiful gray hair), got me hot water to make tea with. When checking out, we asked Karlin if we could buy coffee for the road. He said no, and proceeded to take the time and get us two coffees from the kitchen. Wakulla lodge should be very proud of thier employees. Thier customer service was extremely impressive.

Old Florida ! Love this place! Didn’t like the elevator being down for an extended period of time. We bring the entire kitchen when we travel (lol) But I needed the exercise! Wakulla is a slice of history that everyone should experience at least once in their lifetime!
