Great staff.

I booked this hotel as I wanted to swim. I need a new knee and needed a pool I could walk into. I had not realised from the photos that the only part you can walk into is the baby pool and not the part you swim in, so therefore I could not swim. The breakfast and room were good. Staff were great.

The staff at this property, from Reception to dining staff are so polite, helpful and have a smile. A calm environment. Bedrooms are nice and comfortable beds. I have stayed here a few times and always on the lookout for this hotel first when I visit Swindon.

Rooms are nice, comfortable and clean. TV is hit and miss. Internet tv did not work. We’ve stayed twice and it did not work on either occasion. For us it is important to have vegan food, we are also allergic to dairy. This is really limited, I couldn’t even have toast and marmalade because they had flora but it had milk in. Poor for us for food. Would stay again for rooms and swimming pool but we’d have to dine elsewhere, which is a pain.

Comfort stay. Good breakfast and nice swimming pool. We had dinner at the restaurant and took too long to get our meal but the waiters were attentive. Overall it was a good stay.

Everything about the hotel was good. Only 2 feedback- swimming pool size is not as big as it looks on photo. We had dinner in the restaurant. The main waitress was excellent. There was another guy from bar area who was helping her out. He was rude. He should not be working there if he does not like the job. All the staffs could not do any more for us. But this guy is ruining hard work of rest of the team.

Overall good experience. Could have done with a jacuzzi in the Spa. Didn’t like they way a service charge was automatically added to restaurant bill & then also wanted a gratuity payment on top. Drinks bill pricey

Staff were friendly and helpful, but things like the bathroom and pool facilities weren't as clean as i would have expected and were looking very tired. We were also surprised to be charged for car parking.

The hotel rooms are very old and dated. We had many issues during our stay: heating/air conditioning (continously on full blast and won't stop), bed mattress (spring pockets are broken in the middle part, turning it into U Shape), TV (channels not working), Chest of drawers with broken handles(drawers can't be open and hence we can't put stuff in). We had to move to a different room after first night. With one child and a baby, you can imagine how much hassle it is. Other communal facilities seem fine. Swimming pool is small but warm and clean. Pool side towels are provided for hotel guests. Staff are the best part of the hotel, though there were a few miscommunication between themselves, resulting in missed house keeping. All in all, this is definitely not a typical Delta/Marriott standard stay. We will not go back to the Swindon Delta again unless refurbishment is done in future.
