Stayed one night before Air Tattoo as close to Air base. Very reasonably priced given it's in the heart of the Cotswolds. Staff freindly, room excellent.

Good staff and great food.

The room is in good shape, but a little old. People are very helpful and friendly. Funny story, we ate both dinner and breakfast there .. they don't do special instructions very well. I asked for a medium rate steak and got well done, (but very tender) and at breakfast i asked for an egg fried hard and got runny. Minor blips, but service was great and very central location, bordering the river. Food was very lush.

Great stop on the Thames Path

Solo Thames Path walker. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was good for evening meal and breakfast. The price was reasonable and the location spot on. The room I was in was a little noisy, being above the bar and on the frontage but I’’ sure other rooms are fine and it did not stop me getting a good sleep.

Very central good car parking. Rooms a little dated but clean. Food very good. Had dinner and breakfast. Really nice although could do with some fresh fruit at breakfast. Nice staff good atmosphere in bar.

For what we wanted the property was ok. However as we stayed in one of the courtyard rooms with a table situated right outside our windows there was more noise than was ideal. So not the restful stay we had hoped for. The staff were good and the breakfast reasonable quality (except the coffee) and good value if bought as part of the room rate

We paid a lot of money but were allocated a terrible room. It was very dated and in need of a lot of refurbishment. We had a stunning view of a brick wall. It is definitely very overpriced for the quality of hotel it is now.

The room was a little small, for two adults with walking baggage, but it was comfortable enough and we both slept well. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was very good. A reasonable price, for this time of year.

Money first, customer second approach

The manager really did not want my custom. He seemed more focused on reselling my room as I (admittedly) was slightly late in telling them my arrival had been delayed. Definitely a money first, customer second mentality. The place is tired too. I won’t be back.
