Really enjoyable stay
Loved the cottage and the surrounding area. Had great communication and check in and out was effortless. It was nice for a change not to have a yellow pages size book of rules to follow unlike some places and as always treated a property with duty and care. A simple check out truly made it a good way to end our mini break. Than you for having us. We have already recommended to friends !us

Lovely property for two in a beautiful location
This was perfect for us. The house is absolutely right for a long weekend for a couple in the countryside. It’s got everything we needed and is in a wonderful location, close to country walks pub. Check in was very easy. Communication was excellent.

Fantastic Find!!!
We have just got home from our 3 night break at Church Cottage...Wow what a beautiful cottage, we could not fault it.
The cottage was spotless and attention to detail including the Christmas decorations made our stay even more special.
The Rose and Crown pub is definitely worth a visit!!
The only downfall was the weather and being so wet restricted where we could walk so we will definitely back in the summer.
We have stayed in many cottages with our dog and can honestly say Church Cottage is one of the best we have stayed at, so we will be looking forward to our next visit.

Cosy Cottage
Lovely hot water, great location, thoroughly enjoyed our stay with great bath and shower.
Had a few issues with the key safe and front door lock. The woodburner needs some heatproof gauntlets for safety as hubbie got a nasty burn (Screwfix welding gloves would be perfect).

Lovely stay in Ashbury
What a lovely cottage just up the road from the Rose and Crown pub. The cottage was spotless, had everything we needed and was very peaceful with a delightful small front garden in front of the church. Our two dogs enjoyed the walk up past the church and onto the Ridgeway and we would recommend the Rose & Crown, White Horse and the Royal Oak. Would highly recommend this cottage for a relaxing stay.

An idyllic historic cottage in a dreamy setting
I will always cherish the memory of Churchyard Cottage and our lovely time there! The online photos are nice, but it's jaw-droppingly amazing in person. We enjoyed bustling in the adorable kitchen with modern retro-style appliances, bathing in the large tub, and lounging in bed in the morning while listening to the church bells ring. The cottage was wonderfully decorated with artwork and beautiful objects, and the outdoor table and chairs in the blooming tiny garden out front added to its charm. The gorgeous windows provided stunning views. I especially loved the pathway out back that leads to Ridgeway Road. We had excellent and helpful communication with the hosts, and the neighborhood itself was beautiful, with the kindest people. There's a welcoming pub for food and drink just a stone's throw away. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Issues with property
Disappointed that there was make up removal pads left in bedroom waste bin . There was a half mouldy loaf of bread left in microwave. Fire place hadn’t been cleaned out from last fire usage and the amozon rain shower in bathroom was like standing under a bus shelter in a rain storm. It needed descaling badly as to get a decent amount of water coming out of it. This caused the water to pool around door area and we had to put the bath mat in front of door to stop it going into bedroom. It also went everywhere in the bathroom. It needs descaling so it drops down like a rain shower not come out in big drops around the edges. Didn’t contact owner as there was also a bath we could use but this still never got away from the fact of the Xmas getaway was not very pleasant as it should of been.

The cottage is in a lovely quite location, with Ample Doggy walks straight from the front door, the local pub (closed monday's and tuesdays) a short stagger from the front door, a 5 minute walk reveals stunning views of the Wiltshire countryside and is not to be missed
