This is 50:50 my poor research / the place. The room was perfectly nice in itself - very modern and well fitted out. The location was awful - one balcony overlooked a busy road and a petrol station - the other faced across a footpath directly to another unit. There was nowhere nice to sit outside at all. We're lucky enough to be able to do this - so we left without staying and found somewhere else. If you are booking - be really careful about which room you get - we were in building one. Have to also mention that we didn't complain or raise this with reception - as we also didn't like Coolum Beach itself as a town (not the fault of the actual accommodation provider).

3 night getaway

I have stayed there a couple of times before. Friendly staff clean. Across the road from the beach .shops and restaurants underneath. Had dinner at the Coolum hotel last night. The food was really good. All in all good stay. I did notice the bathrooms and kitchen are looking a little tied though. But all still works.

Great location and family friendly accommodation

We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment (rm 1208) and was very comfortable for a family of 4. This accomodation is within walking distance to beach, shops, supermarket, restaurants. The pool was fantastic and very relaxing. Upon checkin there was a couple of issues with attention to detail to the cleanliness of the apartment but these were very promptly resolved by management. Management is very accommodating and went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable. I don’t know if it was the location of our room, with out fail every evening at random times there would be an intense burning smell that would fill the room and some nights it would last all night. We couldn’t leave the windows open at night as the apartment would have an unbearable smoke smell. We couldn’t put on the AC as it tended to also bring the smell in. We put up with it but was difficult for those family members that suffer asthma. Overall, a comfortable family accomodation.

Enjoyed my stay at Element on Coolum! Very clean, comfortable and spacious. Easy check-in and check-out process - staff is friendly. The location is across the street from Coolum Beach with plenty of options to eat, shop, etc. The grocery store, Cole’s, is right around the corner. The kitchen was stocked with all the utensils and appliances you’d likely need. Washer and Dryer is available in the unit (although the they are quite loud). The property felt safe with gated parking and secure entry - accessed by key fob. Beautiful landscaping as well. After traveling for some time this was the most I felt like home, and I loved it! I’d definitely stay here again.
