I arrived an hour before check-in and they were very nice to let me check in early as it wasn't busy. It was a mid-week reservation for a resort view room. On my reservation request and at the counter I explained I wanted a room that was quiet, away from stairways, elevators, ice machines, etc. I get to my 2nd floor resort-view room but it was right next to stairway with a large gap under the door so you could hear everything. There is no elevator so the stairway is constantly used for staff/guests going up to the 2nd floor from the parking lot with a metal gate that bangs every time it closes and people talking as they go up the metal stairs. Since it was early in the day I asked for a different room. This room was extremely dark, had a musty smell and the sheets did not smell freshly laundered. Feeling that I had already been a hassle with moving me, I decided to not complain and lay down to take a quick nap. Upon pulling back the sheets I saw what looked like toothpaste on the bottom sheet so then I decided to pull back the bottom sheet and mattress pad and found a bug on the mattress and on the lamp shade. I called the front desk and the maintenance man quickly arrived. He couldn't confirm or deny it was a bed bug so I moved rooms...again but this time no resort view. I paid for resort view but did not get it. Property is old, dirty and breakfast is not great. Best part is location, parking and staff. Hyatt needs to do a serious remodel to all the rooms.

The hotel was awesome , the amenities are super clean and super nice . There a lot of variety for the complimentary breakfast. The issue that I had was upon check in . I had booked and payed for a king size bed and they only had 2 double beds . So it made my stay a little uncomfortable for having such a small bed for my wife and I .

We’ve spent several nights at this establishment over the years. It’s been consistently good even through management changes. It has conveniently located near both highways 280 and 101 which gives you access to areas North and South of Sunnyvale. It’s located on a residential street on one side and mall convenience stores and restaurants on the other. Grounds are okay . It has a gym,hot tub , and outdoor pool. The pool needs some stucco work. The grounds are nice and well maintained. The parking is free but not secured by gates. So, someone could just walk off the street and have access to the autos. That being said some of the rooms are located near the street with windows facing the street. So, you do get traffic noise if you have one of these rooms. The rooms have new TVs and a coffee maker. Plain and somewhat dated. The breakfast is more than coffee , bagels, hard boiled eggs , yogurt, and juice. They also serve hot cakes, sausage patties, fresh fruits and mini frittatas. It’s free and all you can eat from 6:30-9:30AM each morning. Customer service was fine. At over 200 per nigh I would consider it high priced to value. However , through Expedia on Thanksgiving I booked it was in the low hundred dollar range and was a deal. Yep ! It was sold out that night. Consider this hotel if you feel my description of this hotel fits your needs.

Super Funky hotel that had a great vibe! Loved the fun decor and canopy bed! The room hallways all open up to the outside atrium and pool which was nice to have fresh air as soon as you exited your room. The breakfast was subpar, could use more options and it was very crowded with many items gone. The front desk staff was always helpful and accommodating to our needs. Lots of parking and very quiet at night. Would definitely come back!
