The staff were charming and the room immaculate. The only negative aspect is that the kitchen closed well before the stated time and I was unable to have supper on my first night. When I complained the only suggestion was that I could go out and get a takeaway.

Spotless room and lovely extras brownies, biscuits, water and even a complementary gin and tonic in the fridge. Molton Brown toiletries in bathroom, comfy bed. Tasty breakfast with a small buffet and a menu to select from. Would recommend and stay here again.

This is a great place to stay in Stratford. From the moment we walked through the door, we just felt we had made the right choice. A roaring open fire, a beautiful Christmas tree, oak panels and a winding staircase. All the staff were exceptionally courteous, welcoming & friendly. We had a great room, with a huge bathroom. The place is full of history as you’d expect. Breakfast was great and there’s a great bar serving a good choice of cask & craft beer. Overall, a really excellent stay.

Clean room and bathroom with good quality complementary items and coffee machine. Breakfast was varied with cooked options and cold buffet style foods. The hotel/pub itself is beautiful listed building. Bar and food was quite expensive for what you get, so we ate and drank elsewhere. Handily, the hotel is in a fantastic location to access shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs.

Everything was just marvellous! A beautifully decorated room, spotless bathroom, fabulous rolltop bath, lovely warm robes and delicious brownies with a handwritten welcome card. The staff were amazing: friendly, warm, knowledgable and kind - nothing was too much trouble. The cosy, historical dining area served delicious breakfasts and sublime evening meals, and the coffee was superb. I loved every minute of my stay and would highly recommend The White Swan.
