Hello, we are Rob and Denny, the owners of Bend in the River Lodge, Stratford-upon-Avon. We bought the Lodge a few years back as a holiday home and do spend some time there ourselves. Denny is an artist and knitwear designer. She finds lots of inspiration for her paintings and designs from the surrounding countryside and the architecture and activities in Stratford-upon-Avon and the Cotswolds. We love to go to the theatres in Stratford and a full programme of plays can be found on the Royal Shakespeare Company website. We personally deal with enquiries and bookings for the Lodge and answer questions as quickly as possible. We are sure that you will love the Lodge and the surrounding area.
Many people return time and time again to the Lodge once they have sampled the wonderful peaceful riverside location, with all the attractions of Stratford being less than a mile away and close to the Cotswolds.
Stratford-upon-Avon, the birthplace of William Shakespeare, is a town rich in culture and history, set in the beautiful Warwickshire countryside on the banks of the River Avon. Within an hour's journey, you can explore Blenheim Palace and the Cotswolds to the south, Worcester and the Malvern’s to the west, and Warwick Castle and Henley-in-Arden to the north.
Some of the attractions in and around Stratford-upon-Avon include ….
