The room was very clean, check-in was quick and efficient. I stayed in a windowless room, for a 2 night stay this was perfectly fine. It was a very cosy and spacious room, the bathroom was the clear winner with a large walk-in rain shower.

The location of the hotel was excellent as was the room and cleanliness. It’s a stunning hotel with great decor. My only small complaint was the bar. Packed until late on Friday and Saturday night so unable to use it, when we were able to get a drink on the Sunday the staff were almost rude, it wasn’t somewhere you could unwind at the end of the day.

We were downgraded upon arrival for all three of our booked rooms, and the hotel is refusing to offer any form of refund. One of the rooms was missing basic amenities that were meant to be included, such as a fridge, wardrobe, and remote control. To make matters worse, the reception staff made jokes about us being downgraded to the windowless single “bunker” rooms, even though we had paid for double rooms.
