The room was extremely small, with a low, curved ceiling that made it difficult to stand comfortably. There was virtually no space to store our bags, so everything felt cluttered and in the way. The room didn’t have a private shower, so we had to use the communal facilities. Overall, it felt less like a hotel and more like a poorly maintained hostel. We ultimately booked another place for the rest of our stay. The only positive was its excellent, central location.

Expensive for what you get. Overall felt clean with good toilets/ showers. The pictures are pretty deceiving though. Pretty much an underground hostel with 2 toilets and 1 shower available for all guests. Good location

Good for the price. Great location. I liked door systems with codes, so no interaction with the reception was needed. However, there were no basic amenities except for soap. The rooms are compact, with limited storage space and minimal surfaces for belongings. Beds offer medium comfort. Heating works well in autumn, but in summer, street noise could be an issue due to the proximity to the road.

Room advertising was deceptive — details like lack of private bathrooms were cleverly hidden. The rooms were photographed to appear nicer and larger than they actually were in person. Cleanliness was bad and walls were thin.

Amazing historical hotel in the most beautiful location. Super easy to find and the staff were so sweet and beyond accommodating. We had a room with no windows but it was still the coolest stay we had on our whole trip! I highly recommend if you're into unique places to stay

It is not worth booking this place

Horrible experience. Got to the hotel, the code that they sent was wrong and couldn’t get into the room. I called the emergency number and tried for an hour, no one picked up. It was 11pm so we were stranded in Stockholm for the night as we couldn’t get another place as a walk-in. Don’t bother and book another place. They also never called back the next day to apologize or anything.

Beware: insect bites

The receptionist was helpful annd polite and moved us to a better room after the first night. However, either in the first room or the second, or both, we were badly bitten by fleas or worse. The lack of hygiene is unacceptable in a hotel which costs more than £100 per night.

The Front Desk person was the highlight of my stay. He was super sweet and helpful. The Hotel is - in all honesty - the worst place I’ve ever stayed in. The towels were very very clean - but no wash cloths were provided. No heat in the room although outside it was in the low 40’s. Welcome to a freezing cold toilet seat each morning and having to bundle up to go to bed. Bed, sheets, comforter were so cheap and were not the right size for the mattress. I had to ask for soap for the bathroom. The containers in the bathroom were empty. The curtains in the room were so shabby and stained and falling off the hook. There is NO money being put into making the Hotel look nice. It’s a DUMP. So sorry I wasted my money on this sad sad sad hotel.

Slightly thin walls and the toilets are VERY loud because they have a plumbing issue in the old part of the city, but it is nice being in old town and there were no concerns.

Really more like a hostel. Very, very basic (shared bathrooms - not always the cleanest; no mirror in the room???; could hear people talking through the wall/vent). Just very basic for what I feel I paid for it. Staff were friendly but sometimes were not around; had to wait to check in because they just weren’t there (for a good half hour). It’s fine if you’re going for extremely basic. Bit of a disappointment if you expect more. Still, it was safe and cozy enough and in a good area.

There is no front desk they don’t answer phone . We waited outside of the hotel for 40 minutes just to find out our room was practically a dungeon with no windows.
