Front desk staff was great. Special shout out to Sofia who was the exact kind of person who your hotel wants working at a hotel front desk. All other desk staff was courteous and helpful. Breakfast buffet was of very high quality

We stayed hear for small visit to Stockholm on Sweden vacation from US. It had great location to explore on foot, easy walk to gamla stan and next to central station. Clean. Great breakfast buffet! We would stay here again for sure. It was perfect for us.

Nice location near the central train station, however not near the sightseeing areas or port if you are taking a cruise. Breakfast was great! People at reception were kind and the room was reasonably comfortable. However, we were quite disappointed that they indicated the spa area and swimming was included as with most hotels. Instead they charged a high fee for time-limited entry, and then the area was not really worth it.

No pool, not really

It was a great disappointment that there was a pool filter/label and a picture of a pool but the pool was only accessible via separate spa company, $30 payment per child, only between 9-12 for children, and only with a reservation. This hotel should not claim it has a pool. I searched for hotels specifically with pools and this feels like fraud. Otherwise the hotel was ok, breakfast was good.

The curtains in my room didn’t close properly meaning I was awake at 4am with the sun streaming into my room preventing a decent nights sleep. The staff on reception got it fixed for my next night but there was little apology and no offer of anything complimentary as compensation. The service at the bar and restaurant is very slow. The spa was chargeable with no discount for guests. Overall a disappointing stay and next time I think I’ll try and find somewhere else to stay - depending on how you respond to my feedback.

Average hotel - dated rooms, breakfast disaster

This hotel is very average. Staff at check in were friendly and professional and the room was spacious, but it was dated with uncomfortable slippery bath to shower in. Our room wasn’t cleaned properly within our stay and tea bags were not refilled. The breakfast was an absolute disaster - people standing and running everywhere looking for tables as there was no organisation and not enough space for all the guests. It was very stressful and result of poor hotel’s planning. The early bird breakfast (before 6.30/7am) on our second day was a joke too - no coffee and most of the food taken even though it was only 6am. The coffee they use is nasty cheap Nescafé.

Car parking robbery

Fell foul of the Swedish car parking system of pre booking in the car park below the hotel. Went to the basement in the evening looking for a machine to pay for my parking. NO machine . You must use an APP to pay for your space . The hotel have no facilities to be able to pay through them for the spaces in THEIR building basement. Parking ticket was issued at 02:00am by traffic warden . Do not use a hire car in Sweden . Also had to pay a fine plus a £25 fee to do a bank transfer as they don’t accept credit card payments for fines .

Good hotel but could be great

Staff were very nice at reception, restaurant and spa. Room was a bit tired, door to mini fridge was not aligned difficult to open and bathroom had some mould on the floor in the grouting. We used the gym and that was very well equipped. Also the spa but the pool heater was not working, they kindly offered a refund or rebook
