Perfect stay

Had a lovely 2 nights stay here clean room , bed was comfortable, room had everything we needed apart from air-conditioning but still manged to sleep with window open. Even got to see 2 different bagpipers playing at the hotel main entrance! Hotel staff was very friendly and room was quiet! Food was lovely and had a lovely breakfast before our long journey home. William wallace monument was a spectacular view from our window, highly recommended and would stay again.

This room was clean and tidy. The stuff was friendly. We didn’t have air fan in the room, but we requested it and it was given to as. Downstairs is a great bar and dinning place. Also if you have car you can drive to the town and take some take away or go to the shop. We liked this room. The only thing is very small tv. It’s more like a computer screen. BUT overall it was a great stay

The hotel was fine but the location isn't very convenient to anything. There's only one lift and it was at the opposite end of the hotel from my room.

Basic hotel

The staff at the hotel were very kind and professional. The room had a weird smell, uncomfortable beds, and they did not restock the toilet paper when they cleaned. The girl is right next to a bus stop that will get you to city center.

Initially we were given a room on 2nd floor but my husband has mobility issues. However changing rooms wasn’t a problem. Room was spotless and comfortable. Breakfast was a feast. Great value for money. Although there was a large private party we weren’t disturbed by any noise. Ate from bar menu. Food excellent. Service good.

Nobody was there to check us in . Had to walk so long to get to the room . No elevator . Mattress was terrible . I would not recommend . I expect more for the price that I paid. Very disappointed . Asked for an extra blanket - never got it. Room and bathroom need renovations. Reduce the price - it’s a hostel.
