Great hotel within walking distance of town centre and castle, staff were helpful and polite. Room was modern and everything you would need for a never two night stay, small fridge with water was a nice feature, the large bath enough for 2 was very good just took ages to fill as it was so big. Enjoyed our stay here would definitely stay here again, it was very quiet and very good for the price.

The hotel is a great place. Parking is convenient at a cost but not unreasonable. Reception was very efficient and quick, we upgraded to a deluxe king which was great. All the facilities are spot on and a great touch was the deicer in reception, it was very cold. Breakfast was really good, nice variety, very tasty with excellent service. Handy for all the sights and good restaurants.

Room lovely with large blackout curtains on all windows apart from one above bed which had a Venetian blind, there was a street light on outside all night so room never dark, struggled sleeping, shame just needed to put a Roman blind up matching the curtains. Breakfast, tea and coffee in thermal jugs and was warm at best. Pastries like cheap supermarket ones. Porridge was made from water not milk which was horrible but that’s down to my personal preference. Shame hotel looks great, was disappointed. Staff good
