Front desk person was great! It would have gotten a five star, but the bartender kicked us out of the bar at midnight. He said he can close early if there's not a lot of people. There were 5 of us and a group of 5-6 at a table. Two were playing pool and he wouldnt even let them finish their game.

Room was dirty, ran out of hot water, mold in window sills, dusty all over the place. Breakfast was cold and potatoes where hard as a rock. Hallway smelt like there was a fire, our heater kept kicking off during the night.

First off, when I checked in, I was not informed that the room I reserved, was not what I was getting. Upon entering the room, we quickly realized it was not the right room, I was told “well that happens” and made no effort and gave no options to fix the problem. The whole building was so warm, to the point it was uncomfortable. The hot tub was out of surface and the mens locker room by the pool was so incredibly gross. It smelled so bad, like musty moldy water, there were holes everywhere and was just in overall bad shape. The pool area was ok, although there were so many safety hazards, not sure how stairs next the pool is ok. The area outside the pool was full of puddles as the water was just sitting there without being able to drain. The bathroom in our room was so outdated and the shower area was so beat up and was missing parts of the ceiling. The whole hotel was full of fans and/or heaters. The variety at breakfast was ok, but the food was cold. I think it could be a very nice hotel, but needs some major updates, renovation, and such upkeep. Will not be back.

Hotel is very dated, at check in the guest before us so had their information up on an iPad so it’s not very secure for privacy. Our room was not very clean, there were two very scratchy robes available for us to use but they were totally wrinkled and very stiff feeling. Rust stains and the bathroom drain was out of the tub. Set the thermostat to heat but the heat never came on and it was a very chilly night. Bed was okay decently comfortable. But I would not stay here again. Oh and also our room door stayed wide open, you had to physically close it and ensure it latches before walking away.

Staff were efficient and friendly. Breakfast had large variety of food choices, though hot foods were lukewarm. Breakfast area was roomy with ample seating for guests. Hotel was nicely decorated for Halloween - fun! Our room could use a more thorough vacuuming. Our room door was squeaky. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would do so again.
