Our room was directly next to the lobby in a hotel that wasn’t even close to full. Why you would ever put a group with two children directly next to the lobby is beyond me. It was sooooo loud all night long with staff talking and making all sorts of noise. It was very disappointing.

This place is run down and dingy, not luxury at all. I left before the end of my stay due to arriving for my booked massage, finding out they were using a hotel room in place of the hurricane damaged spa, and one man was in there, no desk staff member and I felt unsafe. The “shopping” is a gift shop. For a 24 hour resort, the food court closes at 10 pm, and the room was dirty on arrival. The coffee pot was broken and they never replaced it. They were rude to me when I brought my coffee on the beach yet looked past a man smoking in front of me on a non-smoking beach! Steer clear. It’s a time share where they’re renting unused rooms and everything is an up charge.

My wife and I travel a lot including international as well. So we have experience and stay in a lot of different hotels and this experience at RumFish is just average and I could have rates alot lower. the staff is friendly and courteous, but the room is just ok, not as nice and updated compared to other hetels I have stay in where is a 5-stars. However, what disappointed me the most is the amenities. I pay in full online on Orbitz, When I book the hotel and its list all the amenities that included, but when I check out, they charge me $185 for the amenities and taxes for 3nights stay. With all my stay over years at hotel, I have never been charge additional for the amenities. It just have included when you pay in full for your booking. So I was very shock and disappointed. I would recommended people to careful when booking at this hotel.
